Everything announced at D23 that’s coming to Walt Disney World

This past weekend at D23, Walt Disney Parks and Resorts Chairman Bob Chapek announced quite a bit that was coming to the parks for the next several years. Disneyland is getting new lands – Pixar Pier and Marvel land (hinted at) – a new Pixar event, Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge of course, and even Cars Land is getting a nice Halloween themed overlay for the holiday.

Disneyland Paris will be getting a new resort, Hotel New York – The Art of Marvel, and the Disney Cruise Line is getting  not just the two already announced new ships, but three new ships!  Plus, a brand new stage show based on the live-action Beauty and the Beast film.  But what’s coming to Walt Disney World?  Plenty of brand new things where we can break it down for you by category! Magic Kingdom getting its very own Broadway style theater!

It’s finally happening! Walt Disney World, more specifically the Magic Kingdom is getting a Broadway style theater and it’s coming straight to Main Street, U.S.A.

The new theater will be based on the iconic Willis Wood theater from 1920’s Kansas City where Walt lived after he left Marceline.

CONFIRMED! Tron Lightcycle coaster coming to Magic Kingdom

Another attraction rumored (and hoped for) for months is the Tron Lightcycle coaster.  It was finally confirmed today at D23 it is coming to the Magic Kingdom and will be open in time for Walt Disney World’s 50th Anniversary!

Disney has released the dates for MNSSHP and MVMCP.

Dates for this year’s Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party and Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party have officially been announced!
