Everything announced at D23 that’s coming to Walt Disney World

This past weekend at D23, Walt Disney Parks and Resorts Chairman Bob Chapek announced quite a bit that was coming to the parks for the next several years. Disneyland is getting new lands – Pixar Pier and Marvel land (hinted at) – a new Pixar event, Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge of course, and even Cars Land is getting a nice Halloween themed overlay for the holiday.

Disneyland Paris will be getting a new resort, Hotel New York – The Art of Marvel, and the Disney Cruise Line is getting  not just the two already announced new ships, but three new ships!  Plus, a brand new stage show based on the live-action Beauty and the Beast film.  But what’s coming to Walt Disney World?  Plenty of brand new things where we can break it down for you by category! New space themed restaurant coming to Epcot!

Ever wondered what it’d be like to dine in outer space with a view of Earth? Well now you can find out!  Coming soon to Epcot’s Future World will be an amazing new restaurant located directly next to Mission: SPACE.

The new dining experience will invite guests to dine while viewing the stars!  Imagineer Tom Fitzgerald shared the first look of the new restaurant at D23.  “We know our guests love dining at Epcot – and the restaurants really are out of this world,” Tom said. “Now we’re about to create one that takes that literally.” Continue reading “New space themed restaurant coming to Epcot!”

CONFIRMED! The Ratatouille attraction is coming to the France Pavilion in Epcot

One I’ve been hoping for and saying for a couple years, it’s finally happening!  Confirmed today at D23, the Ratatouille attraction, located at Disneyland Paris, is coming to the France Pavilion.  America is finally getting an incredible trackless ride!!rat2340987FI

CONFIRMED! Guardians of the Galaxy attraction coming to Epcot, replacing Universe of Energy

This attraction has been rumored as far back as last summer before Comic Con and had many people doubt it’s existence for multiple reasons, mainly that Disney wouldn’t dare put Guardians inside Epcot or that they couldn’t!  Well, lo and behold, the rumors were all true! Feast your eyes!

Disney is bringing 6 new booths to Food & Wine Festival, Releases full menu for all 35

It’s that time of year again to start planning and to definitely begin saving up for Epcot’s Food and Wine Festival! This year, the event is bigger than ever with the event running a record 75 days.  It begins August 31st and goes all the way to November 13th.  But that’s not all that is record breaking.  To celebrate 35 years of Epcot, the event will be offering 35 booths, bringing in six brand new ones to sample.  Not to mention the Eat to the Beat line up they have planned for the full event.

Eat to the Beat Returns to Food & Wine Festival with 11 NEW Acts!

Epcot’s Food & Wine Festival is returning this year for the longest season ever with an astounding 75 day run, which begins in August!  And with one of Walt Disney World’s most popular events comes the popular concert series Eat to the Beat.  This year, the concert series has 11 new acts joining the line up.

Frozen Dessert Party Coming to Epcot, IllumiNations Sparkling Dessert Party Leaving

Elsa has gotten fireworks, her own show, an attraction overlay, and she even took over the castle lighting ceremony during Christmas at the Magic Kingdom.  Well now she’s getting a fireworks dessert party… again! Starting July 17th, Epcot will be replacing the IllumiNations Sparkling Dessert Party, which has it’s last date actually on July 14th, and starting a brand new dessert party ever so creatively named the Frozen Ever After Sparkling Dessert Party.

CONFIRMED! Disney is officially building a gondola system connecting Hollywood Studios, Epcot, and resorts

It’s been rumored for a couple months and after much speculation, we can finally confirm Disney will be building a gondola system which will connect Disney’s Hollywood Studios, Epcot, and the resorts between.  Thanks to documents and permits publicly released by Reedy Creek Improvement District today, we can clearly see there will be six stations and three routes.  They will connect Disney’s Hollywood Studios, Epcot, Disney’s Caribbean Beach Resort, and the lake located between Disney’s Pop Century Resort and Disney’s Art of Animation Resort.  Continue reading “CONFIRMED!
