REVIEW: Satu’li Canteen, Our Second Visit Expands on Flavor Even More!

During for first visit to Pandora – The World of Avatar we had two meals at Satu’li Canteen and got to sample even more of the food in this amazing new casual dining restaurant at Disney’s Animal Kingdom park.  To say I was impressed with the food during my first tasting doesn’t do it justice.  But this time around, Satu’li Canteen has truly become one of my new favorite places to eat at Disney Parks. Disney’s 2018 Dining Plan will offer alcoholic and specialty beverages as an option

The Disney Dining Plan is always a popular thing for its resort guests.  There are three options for the plan: the Quick Service dining plan, the Disney Dining plan (quick service and table service), and the Deluxe Dining plan (any where you want).   I, for one, have never really considered it an option for me because every meal comes with a non-alcoholic beverage and adult beverages cost extra.  So for dinner, if and when I want a beer, not only would I pay for the beer, but then I probably would not be ordering image5-1my soda and wasting the money I’d spent on it.  But that’s just me.

Now it’s all changed.  It was rumored last week or so and it’s officially been announced by Disney that the 2018 Disney Dining Plan will now offer alcoholic and even specialty beverages such as milkshakes and smoothies as an option for drinks.  Here’s the announcement below. Continue reading “Disney’s 2018 Dining Plan will offer alcoholic and specialty beverages as an option”

Portobello officially not returning at Disney Springs, Chef Tony Mantuano restaurant replacing

The Portobello restaurant at Disney Springs closed last week for what was announced to be a half year’s refurbishment and remodel. It was announced to be coming back with a newly redesigned menu featuring family-style offerings and new Italian craft beers and wines.

Well, as I suspected, Portobello Country Italian Trattoria will not be returning to Disney Springs.  Just like Fulton’s Crab House, the restaurant will be undergoing a full make-over and be coming back with a brand new name, menu, and from the looks of it, will look a Continue reading “Portobello officially not returning at Disney Springs, Chef Tony Mantuano restaurant replacing”
