On Wednesday, I had the opportunity and pleasure to be among the first to sample the offerings at the Satu’li Canteen thanks to a Cast Member preview.  As you may know, the Satu’li Canteen is located in the new land, Pandora – The World of Avatar.  The new restaurant is a fast-casual style offering and, from what we could tell, is located on the right side of the land.   So here is our brief experience and early review!  We weren’t allowed to take pictures during the preview, so all food pictures are official photos Continue reading “EXCLUSIVE: Early review of Satu’li Canteen in Pandora – World of Avatar”

Chris’ Picks – Top 20 Countdown of my most anticipated Summer Blockbusters

The year is full of all sorts of different seasons of movies. From Oscar season, to the holiday season, and even late fall season which is usually full of films gear towards teenagers.  But the biggest season of all is the summer blockbuster season which used to not kick off until Memorial Day weekend, but has since expanded to the beginning of May.  And with May just around the corner, the summer blockbusters are about to begin next week with Guardians of the Galaxy, Vol 2.

Last year was sort of a slow year for movies.  We had a few really good ones, but few and far between.  But this year, the summer seems jam packed with sequels, R-rated Continue reading “Chris’ Picks – Top 20 Countdown of my most anticipated Summer Blockbusters”

Trailer for Syfy’s Krypton series arrives, and it is intriguing to say the least

Syfy gave us our first look at their new series, Krypton, today with its brand new trailer and I have to say, its very intriguing.  When it was first announced, I wasn’t quite sure what to think, especially since it was being produced on Syfy.  But, while DC’s films tend to be inconsistent, we can’t deny their shows are generally on the strong side.  Check out the trailer below.  Continue reading “Trailer for Syfy’s Krypton series arrives, and it is intriguing to say the least”

As we get closer to opening, new details are revealed for Pandora – The World of Avatar

If you remember back to when Disney’s Animal Kingdom first opened its doors, the park was missing a few key things: signs and maps.  Lead Imagineer Joe Rohde wanted guests to explore the park as if they were exploring the land for real in life. But this frustrated guests and many could not find their way around or the attractions they were looking for.  Eventually, signs were added, but only general ones.  Not for the attractions, but just the lands.  And then, of course, maps.  So the concept didn’t quite work out as well as Joe Rohde had hoped.

Well now, it looks like Joe Rohde is getting his wish once again for Disney’s Animal Kingdom.  According to reports, neither of the two attractions in Pandora – The World of Avatar will have much as far as signage goes.  This is due to a major theme and design Continue reading “As we get closer to opening, new details are revealed for Pandora – The World of Avatar”

New survey points to a possible Star Wars luxury “Starship” resort built for WDW

The following should be noted as only rumors and possibilities due to nothing being officially announced.  However, thanks to a survey being done by third party company called Swagbucks.com, it looks like Disney has an interest in building a new resort themed to Star Wars!  But it wouldn’t just be your run of the mill Disney resort.  It would be an all-inclusive luxury “Starship” resort which would reportedly be attached to Disney’s Hollywood Studios.

According to WDWNT, this new resort would actually be a two night immersive experience and be all inclusive, costing about $900-$1000 per guest.  It sounds a bit steep when you compare to to a standard hotel room, however, it would be so much more. BREAKING: Club 33 coming to all four WDW parks!

DSCN0222Well this is quite the surprise (even though with everything that’s been coming to WDW over the last year or so, it really shouldn’t be), but as reported by WDW News Today, Walt Disney World will be bringing its own version of the famous Club 33 to the east coast.  But not just to the Magic Kingdom… Club 33 will have a home at all four WDW parks!

Just in case you aren’t familiar with Club 33, it is a unique (and pricey) membership club located inside the New Orleans land of Disneyland.  It was founded by Walt Disney himself so that he had a place to host VIP guests and corporate sponsors.  Membership has grown over the years, and currently there is about a 14 year wait list to join.  But it’s not cheap! To be a Continue reading “BREAKING: Club 33 coming to all four WDW parks!”
